South Carolina Goes Pink

Every October, communities across the nation come together to honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and fight for a future free from breast cancer. Here in South Carolina, the fight is personal. Our state continues to face some of the highest breast cancer rates in the country, impacting far too many of our mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends.

That is why the South Carolina Cancer Alliance launched South Carolina Goes Pink, a statewide campaign running October 1–31, 2025. Throughout the month, supporters across the state will raise awareness, promote early detection, and celebrate the strength of survivors. From pink dress-up days and community events to outreach led by businesses, schools, and faith groups, South Carolina Goes Pink shines a light on the importance of breast health and the hope we share for a future free from this disease.

Funds raised through South Carolina Goes Pink fuel the Alliance’s work to spread awareness, share educational resources, and amplify the voices of survivors and advocates across our state. Together, we are building a stronger movement for prevention, support, and hope.
